DESCRIPTION:
In response to the PNODN survey feedback our members stated a desire for greater collaboration, opportunities to share experiences and engage in peer consultation.
In this session, we invite you to bring in real work/client situations and challenges and engage in a collaborative consultation with peers and colleagues in an open space format.
Our discussions will be framed using fundamental Open Space principals:
There are Four Principles and One Law which guide behavior in Open space;
1) Whoever comes are the right people
2)Whatever happens is the only thing that could have
3) Whenever it starts is the right time (in this case 6:15 is the right time)
4) When it’s over it’s over.
The Law is the Law of Two Feet, which states simply, if at any time you find yourself in any situation where you are neither learning nor contributing – use you two feet and move to some place more to your liking.
The agenda for the evening will be;
6:00 – 6:15 Gather and informal networking
6:15 – 6:30 Identify topics for small group consultations
- Identify Topic
- Create a focusing question
- Choose discussion groups
6:30 – 7:30 Discussions
- Context for topic - 15 minutes
- Consultation and discussion - 45 minutes
7:30 – 8:00 Capture our collective learning’s and insights
