OD Toolkit Series - How to Get Started Toward Racial Equity

Janis Avery

This training will be conducted live via Zoom.

Description: These times call on all to lead toward racial equity and justice yet few know how to do it in a way that makes lasting differences. As consultants, leaders of organizations, teams and groups, the opportunity to transform is great. The roadmap, however, is not so clear.

This training is created for those designing change projects to increase diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging, and justice initiatives in organizations who are asking questions such as, "how can we engage in ways that makes a real difference for the people in our organizations and our business results?

Objectives:

  • Define Diversity, Equity, Belonging &Inclusion, Racial Equity & Antiracism
  • Participants start the process to define theirs or their organization’s purpose for leading toward racial equity
  • Participants differentiate the individual work needed to become an anti-racist and the points of intervention to achieve organizational goals related to racial equity
