Community Consulting Project

Community Consulting Project

PNODN is pleased to invite our members to collaborate with the Oregon ODN Community Consulting Project!Through this collaborative project we will be able to offer our members opportunities to practice your OD skills in real client settings while giving back to nonprofits and community organizations.

Please take a moment to learn more about the CCP by exploring this page and links to the Oregon ODN. PNODN members are able to apply to be a part of ongoing consulting projects. There are both short term and longer term opportunities available, and the experience is mostly virtual at this time. Of particular interest to the clients/ potential clients is learning from and working with long time practitioners and those who have retired but still have much to give.

In the future we hope to be able to recruit client organizations from the Seattle area as well. Together we can help PNODN grow into community service.

Blending our skills with our passion to make a difference in our community.

Are you interested in serving your community while learning from other OD professionals? Our Oregon Organization Development Network (ODN) Community Consulting Project (CCP) has served over 120 nonprofit organizations in the last 20 years.

A typical team has a very experienced lead with 10 or more years experience, a co-lead or shadow consultant of similar depth and two or three other professionals. We welcome your contribution, whether you are curious about OD and have transferrable skills, you are a relatively new practitioner or you are an experienced practitioner. Our projects typically last three or four months, though we recently have been serving some larger non-profits for a longer period of time.

Our spring round of work will begin the end of February. If you think you may be interested in joining us as a new consultant, you can find detailed information about CCP as well as a  consultant application here: https://www.odnoregon.org/od-toolkit/community-consulting-project/. To be considered for our spring round, please submit your consultant application by January 31st.

Questions about CCP and the role of a volunteer consultant can be addressed to Alisa Blum, New Consultant Coordinator, at alisalblum@gmail.com
