An Overlooked Element in OD: A Results Focus with Mary Lippitt
OD initiatives have traditionally focused on improving personal style, competencies, and collaboration. It is time to expand our practices to support the ability to deliver desired results. This session presents a groundbreaking situational framework using six results-oriented lenses that enable leaders to make the right call at the right time for the right results. If we keep doing what we have always done, we will get what we have always gotten, and that is not enough. In our dynamic environment, we cannot let our clients rely on habit and past practice.
During this session, participants will assess a current goal, explore how checklists improve situational insight and recognize the impact of situational mindsets on change readiness.
About Your Presenter
Dr. Mary Lippitt, award winning author, speaker and consultant, founded Enterprise Management Ltd. to help leaders implement practical and effective solutions to navigate a changing business climate. Known for her pioneering work linking leadership and goal achievement, Dr. Lippitt is recognized as a leader in executing change, leadership effectiveness and strategic thinking.
Dr. Lippitt released her book Brilliant or Blunder: 6 Ways Leaders Navigate Uncertainty, Opportunity and Complexity in 2014.
She earned a Doctorate in Business Administration and teaches in the MBA program at the University of South Florida. She is proud to be a second generation OD professional.
