Back to Basics: Continuing to Create Inclusion in the Virtual World

Due to COVID19 Fred and Judith will be live via Zoom Meeting! Exciting news! They have agreed to come back in person when it is safe!

The pandemic and our current reality of physical distancing are forcing us to change in a way we have done things in the past. Before 2020 many organizations and leaders could not envision how it was possible for their teams to work from home (WFH) and for many it is now a fact of life. In addition to the rapid shift in how teams operate they must balance the real day-to-day experiences and effects of COVID-19 all while continuing  address current organizational needs  and positioning themselves for the future.

Building an inclusive organization does not stop because how we work is shifting—it is now more important and more difficult in some ways, and it requires thought to how we want to enhance our interactions. Are your virtual meetings and interactions structured in a way where…

  …everyone’s voice is included?
…all team members know their priorities and aware of what others are working on?
…spontaneous collaboration is maintained through distance?
…people have the right tools and support to do their best work?
…there is space to allow team members to share what is going on in their world, how they are coping or taking care of themselves, and how you can be there for each other?

Join us to discuss some of the lessons learned from this past month and tips to maintain the quality of our interactions while we work virtually, reduce isolation, identify ways to partner and be a resource to others, and most importantly, continue to create connection during this time of physical distancing.
