OD Toolkit Series - The Use of Self & Its Influence on OD Practioners

Larry Kokkelenberg          Regan Miller

This training will be conducted live via Zoom. The zoom meeting details will be sent out prior to the training.

What you know and do best limits you.  The information you receive and how it is given to you affects your interpretation of the circumstances / event and how you chose to react to it.

Being sensitive to your emotions, values, biases and opinions will increase your awareness of how they are impacting your perceptions, judgements and behaviors.  Additionally your increased sensitivity will result in you being able to assess the subtleties of the culture and relationships and use yourself as a barometer  or instrument   of change.  This session will be a workshop on the use of self, highlighting  several areas, biases (perceptions), emotional sensitivity and values.

Our goal in this workshop is to help you become a more skillful consultant through your use of self.  Join us for an exciting workshop.

Learning Objectives

1.  Increase your sensitivity to your own thoughts, and emotions

2.  Realize that how the information is presented (heard or seen) to you influences your own responses

3.  Become more aware of how your own values influence you recommendations.

At the end of the presentation, the participants will:
