OD Partnership Series - CCP Executive Leadership Team Effectiveness

Dave Moyle             Tracy Miller

This training will be conducted live via Zoom. The zoom meeting details will be sent out prior to the training.

This session is part of a new ongoing series offered in collaboration with the Oregon ODN Community Consulting Project.

In this next session of this special program series, you will learn how our ODN Oregon Community Consulting Team worked with a major community nonprofit to initiate culture change, increase governance efficiency and effectiveness, and empower all management levels to make better choices. The session also provides you with opportunity to explore tips, tools, methods, and key learnings to augment your own OD toolkit.

We will showcase specific processes and techniques, including how we:

  • Gained top management trust and commitment,
  • Shared results of interviews and proposals in visually dynamic ways
  • Devised changes in home team identity and decision-making, and
  • Applied OD principles to maintain project momentum despite staff turnover and
    other disruptions

In helping uncover voices and insights that needed to be heard, we increased the influence of key leadership players across levels, improved role clarity and endorsed an “annual decision racetrack” that ensured executive leadership meetings focused on top priorities.

A strength of this series is engaging all attendees in sharing their challenging experiences and insights in the large group and breakout sessions.

Learning Objectives:
1. Gain knowledge in real life scenarios in consulting.

2. Gain understanding of on the ground decision making for executive leadership consulting.

3. How to engage with clients in nonprofit systems.
