This session is part of a new ongoing series offered in collaboration with the Oregon ODN.

As a follow on to last month’s program providing insight and tools for “standing up in a divided world” – this month digs deeper to identify barriers to discord and offer relevant, timely tools to overcome those challenges.

        About Your Facilitators

        DeVere is among the most seasoned conflict management professionals on the West
        Coast. He brings 33 years of full-time experience, a client roster that includes hundreds
        of notable organizations, and a track record of over 2,000 cases. He has also amassed
        over 5,000 hours teaching dispute resolution and related skills grounded in his real-
        world experience.

        DeVere holds an MA in Organizational Communication. His thesis explored employee
        resistance to conflict resolution opportunities. He also holds a BA in Conflict Resolution
        from American University. Chris lives in Clackamas County with his wife, two sons, and
        other critters. He’s been spotted sailing on the Columbia River, or gazing through a
        telescope or gawking at local birds.
