The OD Salon - Networking Across the Nation

Kai Stowers, Your Host!

This PNODN Community Gathering will be conducted live via Zoom. The zoom meeting details will be sent out prior to the training.

The OD Salon started in March 2019 as a social gathering of 10 people at a small bar in Lower Manhattan. Since then, it has grown into a network of 550 like-minded Organization Development and “OD-adjacent” practitioners with diverse backgrounds in the applied behavioral sciences. The purpose of the event is to bring people together to network and share ideas as they relate to the field of Organization Development so that we can better support each other to join forces and have an impact on our world. We meet monthly, coming together over (zoom) food and drink to strengthen and build a strong inter-connected community of practitioners.

This incredible gathering place allows OD and OD-adjacent practitioners to connect and network with each other, explore questions relevant to our field, and, perhaps most dear to our hearts, ask for, offer, and receive support. This group is over 600 professionals strong!

About Your Host

Kai Stowers is a consultant and coach who plays in the intersection of OD and diversity, equity, and inclusion. He is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and has a master’s degree in Organizational Psychology and Change Leadership from Columbia University.

In his former life, Kai had a career as a chemist. While he was fascinated by the technical challenges of developing life-saving therapeutics, he became increasingly interested in helping leaders dismantle the barriers to full inclusion within their organizations. He partners with you to develop evidence-based and heart-centered strategies spanning the intrapersonal and interpersonal to the structural.

Kai has worked with for- and non-profit organizations including Genentech, Infineon Technologies, eBay, the Human Rights Campaign, and CapEQ Impact Advising.
